Seafields at Kiawah Island (“Seafields”), the first 62+ Luxury Life Plan Community at the renowned resort island, has announced their initial slate of amenities and programming. Driven by the demand for elevated senior housing and healthcare in sought-after areas, the $180M facility will feature immersive experiences, exclusive partnerships, distinctively spacious floor plans, high-end amenities, and a first of its kind in-house medical clinic operated by the Medical University of South Carolina (“MUSC Health”).

A new senior housing facility, Seafields Village, is in the works to serve the Sea Island communities. “The one piece that was missing to complete Kiawah was a place for people to age in place,” Big Rock Partners Real Estate Founding Chairman Richard Ackerman said.

Kiawah Life Plan Village Inc. (KLPV), a newly formed not-for-profit, has closed and purchased a 9-acre site from Kiawah Partners, a subsidiary of South Street Partners – for Seafields at Kiawah Island (“Seafields”), the first 62+ luxury life plan community at the exclusive Kiawah Island.
