Soon-to-be Seafields residents are looking forward to experiencing Lowcountry comfort and luxury in our state-of-the-art 62+ Life Plan Community. We are so excited to welcome our residents soon; however, we understand that it may be hard to imagine what life will be like at Seafields before our beautiful community is complete. Take a glimpse into a day in the life of a Seafields resident below.

Waking Up in Paradise

You’ll begin each day by taking in the spectacular views from your veranda and experiencing the gentle sounds of the many bird species that inhabit the Island. Making your way through one of our spacious floor plans, you’ll head to the kitchen to brew some coffee and enjoy the slow morning. As the coffee brews, you’ll ponder the day’s activities. Should you read a book by the pool? Or, take a yoga class before a delicious lunch? Possibly, take a walk through one of the Island’s scenic trails? At Seafields, the activities are endless, and you have the freedom to be as active or as relaxed as you like!

Taking in the Morning Sunshine

After a relaxed breakfast in your kitchen, you head down to the resort-style saltwater pool to catch up on the book you’ve been reading. As you bask in the early morning rays, you’re reminded of the natural beauty found in the Lowcountry. After about an hour lounging by the pool, you decide it is time to get some movement in. First, you head back to your residence to change into some athleisure wear. After picking your friend up at their residence, you both go for a walk through one of the scenic paths that scatter the Island.

Time for Lunch

Your walk has made you hungry, so you decide it’s time for lunch. You and your friend make your way over to the nearby Freshfields Village, which features premier shopping and dining options. You decide that today calls for some sushi, so Fuji Sushi Bar and Grill is your next stop. After enjoying some delectable shumai, soft-shell crab, and spicy tuna rolls, you decide it’s time to head back home. As you and your friend are closing out, you remember that you have an afternoon tee time, which you had almost forgotten about! Fortunately, you have plenty of time to head back and change for golf, so you enjoy a leisurely walk back to your home.

Early Afternoon Greens

Kiawah Island is home to some of the best golf courses in the country, with five picturesque public courses for our residents to choose from. Today, you have a tee time at The Ocean Course—one of the Island’s premier courses. As you arrive at the clubhouse, you are greeted by the other three group members and begin your round shortly thereafter. The day is perfect; the cool Atlantic breeze perfectly blends with the radiant sunshine, creating picturesque conditions. The 18-hole, Par-72 course challenges you and your group; however, you all play tremendously well and leave the course feeling rejuvenated.

Dinner Time

After stopping off at your residence for a quick shower and outfit change, you head to a delicious meal at one of the fine dining options within Seafields. After dining on a tasty pasta dish complimented by some Cabernet, you decide on a perfect cap to your day: a movie at the luxurious theater on-site.

Movie Night-Cap

As you enter the impressive private cinema designed by Paradise Theater, a Los Angeles-based designer of premier private cinemas, you are again grateful to call Seafields home. The comfortable seating is inviting, and you look forward to kicking back for the next few hours and enjoying the movie. To make things even better, you notice a group of friends sitting on one side of the theater, with an empty seat next to them, calling your name. As you retire to your residence at the end of the night, you reflect on a day well spent on an Island that allows you to live life at your own pace.
